The Digilent NxLCD is a 16x2 character LCD module that uses a 16-pin parallel interface to connect to the Nexys or the Spartan3E-1600 boards.

The LCD display uses a standard character display controller compatable with the ST7066U from Sitronix, the HD44780 from multiple vendors, the KS0066 from Samsung and the SED1278 from Epson.
